Bailey McKinney, a sophomore education major from Amarillo, Texas leads the worship team that plays at Tupos on (our weekly worship service) Tuesday nights. She is known for her bright smile and pure love for God. The worship team holds auditions at the beginning of every semester. They rehearse every Sunday Night from 6:00-8:30 and then again on Tuesday nights at 6:00. This team is known for becoming a tight knit community as they pursue God through music together. Their style of music is mostly worship rock/modern, with heavy electric guitars in the beginning and then melding into soft piano melody at the end for a time of deep worship and intimate time with God. Daren Minier, Mechanical Engineering major from Amarillo Texas leads our media team which handles most of the behind-the-scenes logistics for Tupos. This team runs the soundboard, light board, spotlight, and Pro Presenter Media Software for interactive worship and sermons. Daren is known for being quite the handy man. He has both built onto the sound booth and built a new spotlight booth. He is good with power tools and has a good ear for mixing music. With experience as a computer networker, Daren is also quite the computer guru. His "can-do" attitude makes nothing impossible for him. interested in joining this team? Andrea Brown, an Accounting major from San Antonio TX, is Daren's right hand woman back in the booth. She is in charge of most of the visual media that is shown on the screen at Tupos. Because Tupos is more of an experience, this task is very involved and intricate. She keeps Tupos moving seamlessly with her attention to detail. |

Shanal DeSilva, a Biotechnology/biochemistry major from Sri Lanka leads our prayer team. His heart for God and passion to see new believers born into the faith as well as older Christians come into a deeper relationship with Christ is evident to all. His prayer life is one that gives him a deep sensitivity to the voice of God and many have expressed how much they have learned about prayer from him. This team's main objective is to cover the Wesley staff, leadership, cell groups, ministries, and new guests in focused and intentional prayer. Robin Seal, a communication disorders major from Lamesa, Texas leads the Graphic Design Team. This team produces our semesterly newsletter, updates the website, designs logos, and produces graphics for all things to do with the Wesley. Robin is a wacky girl who happens to be the queen of random. She keeps the party alive with her spontaneity and is a general joy to be around. Interested in joining this team? Courtney Ericson, an education major from Pampa, is Robin's right hand girl in the Graphic Design team. She is the editor of the Wesley Connection, the semesterly newsletter. She joined the Wesley through the Cross Hall Fusion Cell Group and later got plugged into Tupos and the Wesley membership. Cari Littau, although also an Associate in our Fusion Cell group structure, is also the leader of the Guest Care Resource team. This team is not only responsible for coordinating cell groups to greet guests to Tupos on Tuesday nights, but also help make sure that guests have an opportunity to plug into a cell group or resource team. They keep up with who comes through so that nobody falls through the cracks unwelcome. Cari is the proud mother of Maci Hope Littau, who seems to think she is one of the college students. A full time mother, and full time helper in ministry with Mikey, she is a gifted mentor and role-model, and is known to be the mother of the Wesley. Interested in joining this team? Vanessa Baker, also a Fusion Coach is a sophomore dance major from Tahoka, Texas. She sits on the Resource Creative Team to help coordinate anything involving dance or choreography. She orchestrated one of our FNTs (Friday Night Thing) called Dancing with the Stars where she enlisted five dance majors to teach five Tupos regulars how to dance. Vanessa is very involved in the Wesley as a member in the Phalanx and a joy to be around. |

| Jarrett johnston, a freshman art major from Canyon, Texas is a master of everything artistic. Jarrett's creative mind and abilities are currently being used in many of the Resource teams. he runs lights on some Tuesdays with Daren. Brandon Upton is a sophomore Theatre Major from Amarillo, Texas. His desire is to present the Gospel through the means of artistic theatre. This team performs various types of skits at Tupos throughout the year. Brandon also coordinates the FNTs for students to have something fun to do on campus on Friday nights. These events range from: Cops N Robbers, Karaoke Nights, Lip sync Nights, etc. He is a built in fixture at the Wesley. | //Athletic Ministry | ||||||||||
Logan Moore, a sophomore Speech Communications major from Canton TX, leads the Athletic Ministry sector of the Wesley Foundation. This ministry is composed of 5th Quarters, Athlete Bible Studies, and all other things that pertain to athletes. 5th Quarters are after-game celebrations held in the Wesley Foundation's basement. Partnering with RHA, CORE, and REC Sports, these parties are positive alternatives that support the athletes and are known to pack out the Wesley till well after midnight. Logan is in the process of pioneering Athlete Bible Studies in various sport areas. He also hosts football players in our media room for team building on Friday nights before home games. JD Newman, a sophomore speech major from Amarillo Texas, is the president of the WT student group sponsored by the Wesley called the "Maroon Platoon." The Maroon Platoon is a student spirit group designed to support athletes by running flags that say "BUFFS" across the football field and basketball court. They also paint their bodies maroon paint before WT sporting events and cheer like wild men. JD also leads a Fusion Cell group called Man Night in Jones Hall. He is known for being a man's man, but isn't afraid to belt out some lyrics from Cher's "I believe in life after love," with moves that would rival any celebrity from "Dancing with the Stars." |
