We believe the most effective way to build young leaders is to train them, not by an assembly line, but rather as individuals. We call this "mentoring."

In II Timothy 2:2, Paul tells Timothy, a young pastor, to find the faithful men and to train them so that they might go forward and train other men also. We see four generations in this verse, from Paul to other men, which illustrates beautifully how important it is to take what God has given us and pass it to the next generation. Mentors can be staff of the Wesley, mature alumni, or upperclassmen, all of whom have been mentored.
